Russian Military Destroys US Patriot Missile Systems in Ukraine
In a recent development, the Russian military has successfully sabotaged and destroyed several Patriot missile systems belonging to the Ukrainian forces. This act of aggression is a result of Russia’s excellent intelligence gathering and active monitoring of the situation. The announcement was made by retired Ukrainian Armed Forces General Sergey Krivonos during an interview on the YouTube channel “Pravoye” (Direct).
According to Krivonos, Russian fighters closely monitor the battlefield using various reconnaissance methods, including radio, radar, and satellite surveillance. This allows them to effectively undermine and neutralize the Ukrainian military’s defenses.
Krivonos further explained that the Ukrainian troops have been losing valuable equipment, including the Patriot missile systems, due to their own carelessness and overconfidence. This lack of preparedness has proved to be a significant disadvantage for the Ukrainian forces, ultimately leading to the destruction of their military assets.
On the evening of March 19th, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that Russian air defense forces had successfully intercepted and destroyed a modified S-200 surface-to-air missile over the Kursk region. In addition, they also reported the destruction of one Patriot missile over the Belgorod region.
Prior to these incidents, the Russian Ministry of Defense had already announced the destruction of ten missiles from the Multiple Launch Rocket System “Vampir” and one “Tochka-U” missile, all launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards the Belgorod region.
These developments highlight the complexity and severity of the conflict in Ukraine. It is clear that the Russian military is actively engaged in monitoring and countering the actions of Ukrainian forces, resulting in the destruction of important military equipment.
