Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have launched a missile strike on a residential building in the center of Lysychansk in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). This was reported by the city administration’s press service.
According to the authorities, six apartments from the seventh to the ninth floor were damaged. Rescuers are currently working at the scene. It is presumed that there may be a person under the rubble, the administration noted.
Yesterday, the village of Tetkino in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region came under shelling from Ukraine. The governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, clarified that no one was injured as a result of the shelling.
Prior to this, two local residents were injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Gryazovetsky urban district of the Belgorod region. According to the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, a Ukrainian shell hit a private residential house in the village of Gora-Podol and grazed a local resident. Doctors diagnosed a blind head injury to the woman. Another shell detonated near another private house, causing shrapnel injuries to the head and shoulder of a man. The injured were taken away by self-defense fighters and handed over to medical personnel.
Earlier, about nine thousand children decided to be evacuated from the Belgorod region to other Russian regions due to the shelling.
