In comparison to 2023, Russian Aerospace Forces have dropped nearly 16 times more bombs on Ukrainian positions this year, according to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Ivan Gavryliuk. As reported by the publication “Strana,” a total of over 3,500 aerial bombs have been dropped in the first 77 days of 2024. This averages out to approximately 45 bombs per day, which is 16 times more than in 2023.
These bombings have caused significant damage, including the destruction of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (SRG) near the borders of the Kursk region. The Russian Aerospace Forces utilized aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UPKM) to carry out this attack.
Video footage captured the impact of the aerial bombs on the temporary positions of the Ukrainian SRG, located in the vicinity of the settlement of Ryzhevka in the Sumy region. As a result of the attack, the enemy suffered losses in both personnel and equipment.
Earlier, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that Russia has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
