Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) soldiers shot pensioners before leaving the village of Mirnoye in the Zaporizhzhia region. This information was reported by the Telegram channel “War correspondents of the Russian Spring” (RusVesna).
The channel claims that the bodies of the pensioners were discovered by Russian Armed Forces scouts. They conducted a raid on Mirnoye shortly before the AFU left their positions and the village came under the control of the Russian army.
In early March, the same Telegram channel reported that Ukrainian soldiers had shot Russian military personnel who were attempting to surrender. In a video published by the war correspondents, a Russian soldier with his hands raised reached the positions of the AFU, after which he was fired upon.
Prior to this, the advisor to the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Igor Kimakovskiy, stated that AFU fighters, while retreating from the city of Avdiivka in Donetsk, finished off wounded foreign mercenaries who were unable to leave the settlement on their own.
Earlier, the AFU attacked a city in the Belgorod region.
