Russian air defense systems (PVO) have destroyed a Ukrainian Air Force Mi-8 helicopter and neutralized 143 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during a special military operation in Ukraine, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense’s press service.
The publication states, “Shot down: 143 Ukrainian UAVs.”
The Russian Armed Forces also eliminated 22 rocket projectiles from volley fire systems (RSZO) Vampire and Grad, three RSZO Hurricane rocket projectiles, and one RSZO HIMARS rocket projectile, according to the ministry.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense’s press service reported that on March 18, from 11:30 to 11:45 Moscow time, Russian air defense systems intercepted another attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out a terrorist attack on objects in the Belgorod region of Russia.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated that their ammunition reserves had reached a critical level.
