Ukrainian Troops Launch Double Drone Attack on Election Site, Building Set Ablaze. Russian-backed Movement Leader Reports.

Ukrainian troops have attacked a polling station in the frontline city of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya in the Zaporizhia region. This was reported by the leader of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, in his Telegram channel.

According to Rogov, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched a double strike with kamikaze drones called “Zanoza” on the polling station in the city’s House of Culture. As a result of the attack, the building caught fire.

“The firefighters who arrived to extinguish the fire cannot start working due to the ongoing attacks by Bandera drones,” wrote the head of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement, adding that there were no casualties as a result of the attack.

On March 16, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Rodion Miroshnik reported that the Ukrainian side had dropped ammunition from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a polling station in the Zaporizhia region.

Prior to this, the AFU had targeted polling stations in the Kherson region.

On March 15, voting began in Russia for the presidential elections, including in a remote format. Voting will continue until March 17.

For the presidential post, four candidates will compete for the first time since 2008: Vladislav Davankov (New People Party), Vladimir Putin (as an independent candidate), Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), and Nikolai Kharitonov (CPRF).

If incumbent Russian President Putin wins the upcoming elections, it will be his fifth presidential term. Find out more about the presidential elections on the third day of voting in the online broadcast by “Gazeta.Ru”.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense announced the number of drones shot down during the night.
