International observers Sofia Vasilevskaya from Latvia and Andrea Palmeri from Italy have recorded an attack by a Ukrainian drone on a building in Energodar, which housed several polling stations. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“They sent drones to provoke and scare people,” Palmeri said.
The Italian observer emphasized that the Ukrainian side failed, as “people were not frightened.”
“Ukraine has once again shown that it is a terrorist organization. It is no longer a state,” she added.
Vasilevskaya reported that in the morning, at the time of the attack, she and Palmeri wanted to be at a polling station in Energodar. She emphasized that this was done “with the aim of targeting the civilian population.”
“This is a violation of any rules, which we are trying to convey to Europe. We are here, that’s why we came, to show what is really happening,” said Vasilevskaya.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova, announced that 1,115 international observers and experts from 129 countries are monitoring the course of the presidential elections in Russia.
