Two local residents were injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Gryazovetsky district of the Belgorod region. This was reported by the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, in his Telegram channel.
“There are two injured,” the publication said.
According to the information from the head of the region, a Ukrainian shell hit a private residential house in the village of Gora-Podol and grazed a local resident. Doctors diagnosed the woman with a head injury. Another shell detonated near another private house, causing shrapnel wounds to a man’s head and shoulder. The injured were evacuated by self-defense fighters and handed over to medical personnel. Currently, the man and woman are hospitalized and are being urgently assisted by doctors.
“In Gryazovets, windows have been smashed in 10 private houses, roofs, facades, and fences have been damaged,” Gladkov added.
According to him, damage has been registered on the territory of three economic facilities and a school. Two kamikaze drones crashed into two cars. In the village of Gorkovsky, destruction was recorded in four houses and one car. In the village of Kozinka, a private residential house burned down.
“The water supply in the district has been restored,” the governor noted.
At the same time, work to restore electricity supply is still ongoing. Currently, 13 settlements are without electricity.
Prior to this, rocket danger was declared in Belgorod.
Earlier, the AFU dropped explosives on a settlement in the Belgorod region.
