A drone kamikaze attack on a military unit in Transnistria resulted in an old helicopter catching fire. This was reported by TASS, citing law enforcement agencies in the unrecognized republic.
“An incident of fire occurred at one of the military units in Transnistria, and preliminary data suggests that it was caused by a drone kamikaze attack, the flight of which was recorded from the side of the Clever Bridge,” said the agency’s source.
It is reported that an old Mi-8MT helicopter, which was in non-working condition at the parking lot, caught fire. Law enforcement agencies have initiated an investigation.
Shortly before this, the Ministry of State Security of Transnistria reported that a military unit in the unrecognized republic was attacked by a drone kamikaze. Thankfully, there were no casualties or injuries.
The day before, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov spoke about the situation in Belgorod and the Belgorod region following the shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, various damages were recorded in 106 apartments of 22 residential buildings, one private house, a garage, two social facilities, and two economic entities. Additionally, 64 vehicles were damaged.
Previously, Ukrainian drones attempted to attack villages in the Kursk region.
