At 18:00 (Moscow time), an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to carry out a terrorist attack on Russian Federation targets using two multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicles Tu-141 “Strizh” was intercepted.
“The Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense forces over the territory of the Bryansk region,” the publication states.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian air defense systems prevented a new attempt by the AFU to strike at the Russian territory using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The drone was destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region.
Prior to this, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian air defense system shot down nine projectiles from the RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher system and three projectiles from the “Uragan” multiple rocket launcher system over the Belgorod region. In addition, the Ministry of Defense also reported on a new thwarted attempt of sabotage by the AFU in the Belgorod region.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs named the target of the AFU strikes on Belgorod.
