Russian Air Defense Systems Prevent New Ukrainian Attack
Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted a new attempted attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using a drone on Russian territory. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in their Telegram channel.
“The Kiev regime’s attempt to carry out a terrorist attack using a drone has been foiled,” the publication states.
According to the Ministry’s information, the neutralized drone turned out to be an aircraft type. The operation to eliminate the unmanned aerial vehicle took place in the sky over the Belgorod region.
Some time ago, the Russian Ministry of Defense’s press service reported that the Russian air defense system had shot down nine projectiles from the RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher system and three projectiles from the “Uragan” multiple rocket launcher system over the Belgorod region. In addition, the Ministry also reported a new thwarted sabotage attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Belgorod region.
