Ukrainian Soldiers Confess: We Don’t Know What We’re Fighting For” – Senator’s Shocking Revelation Exposes Lack of Clarity in Ukraine’s War

Senator Igor Kastyukevich from the Kherson region has stated that Ukrainian soldiers, when captured, say that they do not know what they are fighting for. His words were reported by RIA Novosti.

“All Ukrainian prisoners of war admit that they do not understand what they are fighting for,” he said.

According to him, they cannot explain what ideals they were defending. Senator Kastyukevich did not provide any further details.

Prior to this, the German publication Welt reported that Ukraine plans a new counteroffensive in 2024. According to the publication, the United States has received a wish list of armaments from Ukraine, which includes Black Hawk and Apache attack helicopters, F-16 and F-18 fighter jets, missile complexes, Abrams tanks, unmanned aerial vehicles, and ammunition. The publication also claims that former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, was not in favor of the counteroffensive launched in June of last year. Welt notes that the left bank of the Dnipro River could become the starting point for the new counteroffensive.

Earlier, the United States stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are losing more and more of their servicemen every day.
