The Ukrainian Armed Forces are unable to respond to Russian attacks due to a lack of ammunition, according to German television channel ZDF, citing Ukrainian military sources.
They stated that it is very difficult for them morally, as they cannot retaliate against Russian fire due to a shortage of ammunition.
“We cannot respond to the Russian offensive because we do not have enough ammunition,” said one of the Ukrainian soldiers.
The report also mentions that the situation for the Ukrainian army is further complicated by the deployment of Russian drones, particularly the “Lancet,” which destroy their equipment.
Earlier, retired Ukrainian general Serhiy Krivonos stated that the Russian Armed Forces have been launching numerous attacks on Ukrainian positions using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) such as the “Lancet.” He emphasized that these drones pose a serious problem for Ukrainian forces.
In early March, Carlo Masala, an expert from the University of Munich’s Bundeswehr, claimed that the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions is due to a lack of ammunition.
Previously, Ukraine acknowledged that it cannot stop relying on Western supplies.
