Russian Forces Annihilate Up to 300 Fighters of Ukrainian ‘Kraken’ Unit with Devastating Air Strike: Ministry of Defense

Russian Troops Destroyed Up to 300 Ukrainian Fighters in “Kraken” Unit

In a recent attack, Russian forces have reportedly destroyed up to 300 fighters from the Ukrainian “Kraken” unit with an aerial missile strike. This information was shared in the Russian Ministry of Defense’s Telegram channel.

According to the footage released by the ministry, it appears that the strike involved a volumetric-detonating aviation bomb, known as ODAB-1500.

The Ministry of Defense also stated that the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, was briefed on the objective control data regarding the destruction of Ukrainian equipment and personnel.

Prior to this incident, the American portal Military Watch Magazine (MWM) reported that the Ukrainian air defense system near Donetsk and the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area had become more vulnerable after the destruction of the Patriot complex near Pokrovsk.

On March 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the interception of an attack on Russian territory using the RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher system.

On the same day, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces headquarters near Chernihiv and the associated combat radar station were targeted and hit by Russian forces using missile strikes.

Earlier, Russian troops had already destroyed a command post with Ukrainian officers.
