Ukrainian Armed Forces have deployed several companies as reinforcements to the villages of Berdychiv and Orlovka near Avdiivka in order to maintain their defensive line. This information was shared by the advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Igor Kimakovskiy, as reported by TASS.
“The Ukrainian armed formations have brought in several companies, including reserve units, to Berdychiv and Orlovka. They are attempting to hold the defensive line. There are ongoing battles,” explained Kimakovskiy.
According to him, such deployments of reserve forces by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area of the front are not unprecedented. Previous groups included foreigners, but at present, almost all of them have been eliminated.
On March 13, Kimakovskiy reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces left behind Western weapons during their retreat from Nevelske.
On March 11, another Abrams tank was destroyed in the area near the village of Berdychiv.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces acknowledged the situation on the Avdiivka direction as “extremely complex.”
