Ukrainian Drones Attack Prokhorovka Village, Governor Warns of Impending Disaster – Homes Destroyed, Lives in Danger

Ukrainian drones have attacked the village of Prokhorovka in the Prokhorovsky District of the Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on his Telegram channel.

“In the Prokhorovsky District, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an attack on the village of Prokhorovka using two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type – the enemy drones crashed with subsequent detonation,” the governor wrote.

Gladkov explained that as a result of the first explosion, the roof of a private house caught fire, windows were shattered, and the facade was damaged. Nobody was living in the house, and there were no injuries, he emphasized. Firefighters arrived at the scene.

The second UAV detonated near the same house, causing damage to a neighboring private residential building due to the shockwave. There were no casualties, he added.

Prior to this, the authorities of the Kursk Region had warned of the threat of drone attacks. The governor of the Kursk Region, Roman Starovoit, also reported the danger of UAV attacks. He emphasized that air defense systems were on standby.

Earlier, the authorities of the Belgorod Region reported an explosion at an infrastructure facility.
