Ukrainian Drone Attacks Russian Village, Causes Destruction: No Casualties Reported

The village of Gostishchevo, located in the Yakovlevsky district of the Belgorod region, has been targeted by a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack. This was reported by the head of the regional administration, Vyacheslav Gladkov, in his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, the UAV of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) crashed in a private residential area and exploded. As a result, an outbuilding on one of the properties was destroyed, he clarified.

“The emergency services are working at the scene,” Gladkov noted.

He added that no local residents were injured during the attack.

On the evening of March 13, a UAF drone attacked the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in Belgorod. As the head of the region explained, the target of the Ukrainian UAV was a local communication infrastructure object. However, there is no information about any casualties.

Prior to this, Russian State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein reported an attempt by Ukrainian drones to attack the Belgorod thermal power plant (TPP). The parliamentarian emphasized that Rosgvardiya personnel shot down six UAVs approaching the infrastructure object.

Earlier, Ukraine was accused of using “intimidation tactics” ahead of the elections in the Russian Federation.
