Residents of the border village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region, which has been affected by shelling from Ukraine and attempts to breach the border, have been evacuated to a safe place. This was announced by the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, in a Telegram channel.
“Together with the territorial defense fighters and a priest, we have evacuated the residents to a safe place and, if desired, we will send them to their relatives or to temporary accommodation centers. In the morning, we will try to assess the damage and, if the situation allows, we will begin the restoration,” Gladkov said.
The governor of the region also met with the residents who were accommodated at the temporary location in Grayvoron. Gladkov praised the immense courage of the local residents.
