Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) dissatisfied with the country’s leadership’s policies are planning to seize the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv. This was announced by RIA Novosti, citing intercepted correspondence.
The publication claims that the Russian side gained access to a Telegram channel where representatives of elite units of the UAF and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) discuss “options for overthrowing the current government and the command of the UAF,” as well as planning to create a radical party with a militant wing.
One of the participants in the conversation wrote that the main action that needs to be taken is to “seize the Verkhovna Rada” at a certain moment.
Another noted that it is necessary to wait for the support of the military because without it, nothing will work. According to the third participant in the dialogue, when citizens see that soldiers are leading the coup and their comrades are following them, “they automatically take the necessary side,” as stated in the publication.
Earlier, it became known that militants of the terrorist organization BYPOL are undergoing training on military training grounds in Poland, preparing for a military coup in Belarus.
