In yet another example of the Biden administration’s failure to secure our borders, three illegal immigrants from Guatemala have been charged with a horrifying crime in Florida. Marcos Felipe Ramirez, Darniel Ordónez Jimenez, and Andres Felipe Morales stand accused of kidnapping a woman, sexually assaulting her twice, and putting the American people in jeopardy.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw did not mince words during a press conference announcing the charges against the trio. He condemned the federal government for allowing these criminals to enter our country and commit such heinous acts. Bradshaw pointed out that incidents like this are not isolated incidents, but rather part of a larger problem stemming from the porous Mexican border.
The sheriff’s concerns are not unfounded. It has been revealed that the most dangerous gangs in the world, including those from Venezuela, have made their way to Miami. This is a direct result of the Biden administration’s lax immigration policies, which have put our communities at risk.
The victim in this case was fortunate enough to escape and seek help. However, we must not forget about the countless others who have fallen victim to illegal immigrants who should have never been in our country in the first place. This tragedy echoes the murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, who was also killed by an individual who entered the U.S. illegally.
The fact that these criminals are able to freely roam our streets is unconscionable. The federal government has failed in its duty to protect the American people. It is not just the Mexican border that poses a threat, but also the rampant illegal immigration and criminal activity that stems from it.
We cannot ignore the reality of what is happening in our country. Law enforcement officials, like Sheriff Bradshaw, have dedicated their lives to keeping us safe, but they are being hindered by the Biden administration’s refusal to address the border crisis. We must demand stronger border security measures and a more stringent immigration system to prevent tragedies like this from happening again.
The three suspects in this case, all from Guatemala, have been charged with sexual battery, false imprisonment, and conspiracy. They are now behind bars, but the damage has already been done. It is time for the Biden administration to take responsibility for its failures and protect the American people. The safety and security of our citizens should always come first.
