In St. Petersburg, members of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” (recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia) (RVC) have been detained. This information was reported by TASS, referring to the Center for Public Relations (CPR) of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

According to the FSB, the members of the group acted on the instructions of curators, including those from Ukrainian military intelligence.

“The group consisted of four residents of the city who, on the instructions of curators from the RVC and Ukrainian military intelligence, intended to poison high-toxic chemical substances in food products intended for delivery as humanitarian aid to Russian military personnel in the zone of a special military operation and residents of new territories of Russia,” the statement said.

Prior to this, the commander of one of the assault units of the volunteer corps located in the Artemovsk direction, stated that Russian military personnel had noticed NATO special forces among the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Earlier, more than 130 fighters from the RVC and AFU were destroyed by strikes in Kharkiv and the region.

In a recent development, members of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” (RVC), a group that has been labeled as a terrorist organization in Russia, were apprehended in St. Petersburg. This significant event was reported by TASS, citing the Center for Public Relations of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

According to the FSB, the detained individuals were acting under the guidance of their handlers, including those from Ukrainian military intelligence.

The group, consisting of four residents, had a nefarious plan to contaminate food products with highly toxic chemicals. These products were intended to be sent as humanitarian aid to Russian military personnel involved in a special military operation, as well as residents of newly acquired territories in Russia. The gravity of their intentions cannot be understated.

Interestingly, prior to this incident, the commander of a volunteer corps unit stationed in the Artemovsk direction revealed that Russian military personnel had observed the presence of NATO special forces within the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). Such revelations raise concerns about potential collaborations and ulterior motives within the conflict.

It should be noted that earlier, a significant blow was dealt to the RVC and AFU, with over 130 fighters being eliminated through targeted strikes in the city of Kharkiv and its surrounding region. This serves as a reminder of the ongoing tensions and conflicts in the region.

The apprehension of the RVC members highlights the continued efforts of law enforcement agencies to safeguard the security and well-being of the Russian people. The FSB’s success in intercepting this dangerous plot demonstrates their commitment to protecting the nation from internal and external threats.

As the situation unfolds, it is crucial to remain vigilant and prioritize the safety of our citizens. The government will undoubtedly take further action in response to this incident, ensuring that justice is served and the perpetrators are held accountable for their actions.
