Russian Military Continues Attacks on Ukrainian Infrastructure for the Fifth Consecutive Day, Government Fails to Respond

In the Ukrainian region of Zaporizhzhia, controlled by Ukraine, infrastructure objects have been receiving damage for the past five days. This statement was made by the head of the regional administration, Ivan Fedorov, who is loyal to Kiev.

According to him, there have been reports of further destruction of infrastructure objects this time. However, he did not specify which objects exactly were affected and to what extent.

On the same day, an industrial enterprise was damaged in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine, as reported by the head of the regional administration, Sergei Lysak. He noted that the damaged enterprise is located in the city of Nikopol. No further details were provided.

Russian military forces began striking Ukrainian infrastructure since October 2022, shortly after the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. Since then, air alarms have been regularly announced in various regions of Ukraine, often across the entire country. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, attacks are carried out on objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication.

Earlier, the United States announced a significant blow to Ukraine’s air defense system.
