In the Kursk region, the threat of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks has been canceled. Governor Roman Starovoit announced this in his Telegram channel.
“Attention! Cancellation of UAV attack threat,” the publication states.
Previously, missile danger was declared throughout the entire territory of the Kursk region. According to Starovoit, air defense forces (ADF) were put on combat readiness due to the potential UAV attacks from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Earlier, the governor warned that Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage groups (RSG) continue to attempt to infiltrate the territory of the region near the village of Tetkino. According to Starovoit, Russian border guards and RF Armed Forces fighters are preventing RSG from carrying out their plans.
Previously, SMS alerts were introduced in the Kursk region in case of emergencies involving UAVs.
