Video footage of the destruction of a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Belgorod region has emerged. The Russian Ministry of Defense published it in its Telegram channel.
“The footage shows the objective control of the destruction of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment during an attempt to break through to the border territory of Russia in the area of the settlement of Spodaryushino,” the publication states.
Earlier, the Russian defense department reported that Russian units had thwarted a new attempt by the AFU to break through to the border territory of the Russian Federation in the area of the settlement of Spodaryushino in the Belgorod region.
Previously, Roman Starovoyt, the governor of the Kursk region, reported that Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups continue to attempt to infiltrate the region. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) persistently try to enter the region with their sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the area of the Tetkino settlement. He also called on the residents of the region not to spread unverified information and to be vigilant.
