The scale of what is happening on the Russian border resembles not the actions of sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG), but a full-scale military operation. This opinion was expressed by military correspondent Alexei Zhivov in a conversation with Tsargrad.tv.
“I warned about this back in winter. I transmitted this information through certain channels. I am convinced that all competent bodies involved in protecting the security of the state border are prepared. And now I see that Ukraine has allocated fewer resources for these sabotage actions and started them later. Our breakthrough on the Avdeevskoye direction had a positive impact on this,” Zhivov said.
On March 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the complete restoration of control over the village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region. It is emphasized that all attempts by Ukrainian military to break through into the territory of the Belgorod and Kursk regions of Russia were thwarted, with losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounting to 1.5 thousand people (including 1,000 injured), 18 tanks, and 23 armored personnel carriers.
On March 14, the Russian military reported repelling an attack by a Ukrainian SRG. Reports have been received of clashes in the area of the village of Spodaryushino in the Belgorod region and in the area of Tetkino in the Kursk region.
On March 12, Ukrainian armed groups attempted to break through the Russian border twice. They launched two waves of attacks: first in the Belgorod region, then in the Kursk region. Against the backdrop of the invasion attempt, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the regions with missiles and drones. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that all attacks were repelled and the border was not violated.
