Hackers from the Beregini group claim to have obtained documents from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) regarding losses of Abrams tanks. They have published screenshots of reports and other documents from Ukrainian military personnel on their Telegram channel.
According to the documents, on March 2nd, one combat vehicle (with the factory number UKR006) sustained damage to its tracks while carrying out a combat mission, causing the crew to abandon the tank.
Another Abrams tank caught fire on February 29th as a result of a projectile hitting it in the area near the village of Berdychiv and was “irretrievably lost.”
The documents also reveal a portion of the casualties within the UAF.
On March 14th, military expert Evgeny Mikhailov stated that the Abrams tanks provided to Ukraine turned out to be not the best option in terms of military technology and significantly inferior to Russian tanks. According to him, Kiev intentionally sends these tanks to the battlefield en masse to demonstrate their ineffectiveness to the United States and to force them to send more weapons.
Earlier, the journalist identified the main Russian weapon against these tanks.
It was previously reported that Russia is destroying expensive Abrams tanks with inexpensive “Upyr” drones.
