Fighters from the “Zapad-Ahmat” battalion engaged in battles against Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) soldiers who attempted to breach Russia’s border. This statement was made by the Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in his Telegram channel.
“The UAF was defeated by the ‘Zapad-Ahmat’ battalion of the Russian Ministry of Defense,” he wrote.
According to the information provided by the regional leader, the offensive on the Kharkiv direction was carried out with the use of heavy military equipment. Other units of the Russian Armed Forces also took part in the battle.
“Our guys had no difficulty repelling such a disorganized offensive,” he emphasized.
The Head of the Chechen Republic particularly praised the work of aerial reconnaissance, unmanned aerial vehicle operators, and artillery forces, noting that swift and precise strikes were delivered against the positions of the Ukrainian army.
Prior to this, Kadyrov reported that fighters from the “Zapad-Ahmat” battalion and the GRAD “Kaskad” unmanned aviation brigade “neutralized” a group of UAF drone operators on the Kharkiv direction.
Earlier, Kadyrov responded to reports of a black market for captured UAF soldiers.
