Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov has reported an increase in the number of casualties as a result of the shelling of the city. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, as a result of today’s attack by Ukrainian forces, preliminary data suggests that four people have been injured.
“In the private sector, 5 houses have been damaged: fences, facades, roofs, and outbuildings. Contracting organizations have arrived at the scene and will now be closing the heating circuit. According to the latest information, 25 cars have been damaged,” Demidov shared.
Earlier this morning, on March 14, eight rocket projectiles were destroyed over the Belgorod region. According to the Russian defense ministry, aerial targets were shot down over the region at 8:30 am Moscow time. Thus, Russian military forces thwarted an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to carry out a terrorist attack.
Shortly before this, a rocket danger regime was declared in Belgorod and the Belgorod region.
Earlier, the AFU attacked the city in the Belgorod region.
