Ukrainian Prisoner of War Yuri Vodyan revealed that an employee of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) commanded a mercenary squad within the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
“We were already used to the Americans, we knew their faces, but this was a new person. We asked about him and were told that he was a CIA officer, a former commander of their mercenary squad, and he came to visit them,” shared the prisoner of war.
