Ukraine will not have enough ammunition purchased by the Czech Republic to continue the conflict fully. This statement was made by the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmitry Kuleba, as cited by TASS.
“The Czech initiative is good, but not enough. Today, we have resolved the financial issue regarding the Czech initiative, but tomorrow we must address the financial matters concerning other initiatives. They exist,” said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
According to Kuleba, the Ukrainian side is currently seeking funding for other similar projects.
Earlier, Czech President Petr Pavel announced the collection of funds to purchase 800,000 artillery shells for subsequent delivery to Ukraine. Later, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala stated that the country had raised enough money to purchase the first batch of 300,000 shells.
It was previously reported that the European Union plans to deliver an additional 250,000 shells to Ukraine by the end of March.
