Russian Troops Destroy Command Post of Ukrainian Armed Forces in Krasnogorovka
In a significant development, Russian forces have successfully destroyed a command post belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Krasnogorovka. This information was shared by Jan Gagin, an advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), with RIA Novosti.
According to Gagin, the demolished command post housed high-ranking Ukrainian officers. Krasnogorovka is located in the part of the DPR that is under Ukrainian control. The town is situated north of Avdiivka, from where Ukrainian military forces often shell Donetsk.
Yesterday, an RIA Novosti source reported that Russian military personnel had launched an attack on a fortified position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Krasnogorovka. The attack involved the participation of Russian Aerospace Forces in collaboration with units from the “Yug” (South) group.
In mid-January, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a detachment of the Iskander operational-tactical missile system from the “Zapad” (West) group of Russian forces had successfully struck a well-disguised command post of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction. The target was destroyed.
Shortly before this, the Russian Ministry of Defense also reported the destruction of a command post of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansk direction.
Prior to these events, a Ukrainian commander went missing without a trace following a skirmish near Avdiivka.
