Russian Forces Crush Ukrainian Troops, Seize Weapons: 350 Soldiers Killed, Tanks and Artillery Captured

Advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin, Igor Kimakovskiy, announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have withdrawn from the village of Nevelske in the region, leaving behind Western-made grenade launchers and other types of weapons. Kimakovskiy’s words were quoted by RIA Novosti.

“During their retreat, the enemy left behind a significant amount of weapons, including Western models. Among the interesting findings are the Western-made grenade launchers,” Kimakovskiy said.

Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that units of the “South” group of Russian forces had taken control of the village of Nevelske in the Donetsk People’s Republic and occupied more advantageous positions.

In addition, in the areas of Novomykhailivka in the DPR and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Russian military forces inflicted defeat on the servicemen and equipment of the 79th Air Assault Brigade and the 81st Airmobile Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).

As a result of the clashes, Ukrainian troops lost up to 350 soldiers, two tanks, four vehicles, and a self-propelled artillery installation called the “Gvozdika”.

Earlier in Russia, a proposal was made to create a mechanism for integrating captured UAF soldiers into peaceful life.
