Losses of Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage groups (RSG), which attempted to infiltrate the territory of the Kursk and Belgorod regions on March 12, amounted to 234 fighters. This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The ministry specified that at around 3:00 a.m. Moscow time, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, supported by tanks and armored vehicles, attempted to cross the Russian border in the area of the Belgorod settlements of Spodaryushino and Nekhoteyevka. A similar situation occurred near the settlement of Odnorobovka in the Kharkiv region.
Shortly afterwards, several attacks by Ukrainian infiltrators were repelled in the area of the Kursk settlement of Tetkino. It involved four attempts by Ukrainian soldiers to penetrate the country’s territory.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, during the fighting, Ukrainian units lost 234 soldiers and two armored personnel carriers. In addition, Russian military forces disabled seven tanks and three Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
“No violations of the state border were allowed,” the Ministry of Defense summarized.
