Ukrainian Soldier Arrested for Attempted Poisoning of Ukrainian Troop Command on Zaporizhzhia Frontline
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has apprehended a Ukrainian serviceman for his alleged attempt to poison the command of Ukrainian troops on the Zaporizhzhia frontline. This development was reported in a Telegram channel of the agency.
According to information from the Ukrainian security service, the soldier acted on the orders of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB). It is specified that his plan involved adding a poisonous substance to the water supply of the bath and laundry complex.
It is claimed that the apprehended individual was passing on information about the location and movements of Ukrainian army units. The SBU asserts that the soldier was allegedly coerced into collaboration through blackmail, with his parents, who reside in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), being reportedly kidnapped.
