Ukrainian Drones Attack Russian Nuclear Power Plant: Radiation Levels Remain Normal Despite Assault” (118 characters)

The Kursk nuclear power plant (NPP) is operating normally despite recent attacks by Ukrainian drones. This was reported in the station’s official Telegram channel.

“The power units No. 3 and No. 4 of the Kursk NPP are operating at the capacity set by the dispatch schedule. Power units No. 1 and No. 2 are in operation ‘without generation’,” the press service said.

It is noted that the radiation background at the NPP does not exceed normal values at the moment.

During the night and morning of March 12, Russian regions were subjected to a massive attack by Ukrainian drones and rockets. Drones were shot down in the Moscow region and the Leningrad region, as well as in the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Tula, and Voronezh regions. In the Oryol region, an oil depot caught fire after a drone strike. Against the backdrop of the massive air attack, there were reports of an attempt by Ukrainian saboteurs to break through into the Belgorod and Kursk regions.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, sabotage groups attempted to infiltrate Russian territory from three directions, but were repelled and lost up to 60 people, as well as several armored vehicles.

Earlier, the Kremlin commented on the mass drone attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
