The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked a commercial facility in the city of Belgorod using a drone, according to the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, who shared the information on his Telegram channel.
Gladkov stated that the drone crashed into the wall of a store, causing no injuries.
As a result of the explosion caused by the drone’s impact, windows were shattered and the facade was damaged. Four cars also sustained damage.
Emergency services are currently at the scene, Gladkov added.
Prior to this incident, the governor had reported that the AFU had attacked a commercial enterprise using a drone.
Furthermore, throughout the night, Ukrainian forces have continued their attempts to strike regions in Russia. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, seven Ukrainian drones were shot down by air defense systems over the Belgorod region by morning on March 12.
Earlier, the Federal Security Service (FSB) denied reports of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups infiltrating Russian regions.
