In the sky over Kursk, the air defense system (ADS) continues to operate on the morning of March 12. This was announced by the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit.
He urged local residents and guests of the city to remain calm.
According to the information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the ADS units intercepted and destroyed 25 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over Russian regions on the night of March 12: two drones over the territory of the Moscow region, one in the Leningrad region, seven in the Belgorod region, eleven in the Kursk region, one in the Bryansk region, one in the Tula region, and two in the Oryol region.
In the Moscow region, a drone was shot down in the Ramenskoye district while flying towards Moscow, as reported by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or destruction at the crash site.
