The Russian air defense system has shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) over the Kursk region. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this, according to RIA Novosti.
“At about 7:00 am Moscow time, another attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using a UAV aircraft type on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted,” the ministry said.
The duty air defense systems of the Russian Federation destroyed the UAV.
Some time ago, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 25 UAVs belonging to the UAF over various regions of Russia on the night of March 12: two drones over the Moscow region, one over the Leningrad region, seven over the Belgorod region, eleven over the Kursk region, one over the Bryansk region, one over the Tula region, and two over the Oryol region.
