17 People Evacuated After Drone Crash at Fuel-Energy Complex in Orel: No Injuries Reported

In Oryol, after the fall of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a fuel and energy complex, 17 people were evacuated from neighboring houses. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Yuri Parakhin.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties from the drone crash. Emergency services arrived at the scene of the incident. The evacuated individuals were examined by medical personnel, Parakhin noted.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 25 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over Russian regions on the night of March 12: two drones over the Moscow region, one in Leningrad, seven in Belgorod, 11 in Kursk, one in Bryansk, one in Tula, and two in Oryol.

In the Moscow region, the UAV was shot down in the Ramensky urban district; it was flying towards Moscow, as announced by Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. According to preliminary data, there were no damages or casualties at the crash site.
