Ukrainian Battalion Commander Goes Missing Amidst Leadership Crisis – AP Documents Reveals Shocking Disappearance

Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces battalion went missing in early February near Avdiivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This was reported by the Associated Press (AP) agency, citing documents.

According to the publication, the commander cannot be found after a quarrel at the command post against the backdrop of the dismissal of Valeriy Zaluzhny from the position of the chief of staff. At the same time, journalists did not disclose the name of the military officer.

The agency found out that the day after Zaluzhny’s dismissal, Ukrainian officers gathered at the command post near Avdiivka. There was a tense conversation between them, after which the commander and two soldiers left the place in a car. However, later one soldier was found lifeless, and the commander and the second soldier were no longer seen.

Prior to this, The New York Times newspaper reported that the Russian Air Force has been playing a more significant role in the conflict in Ukraine, which contributes to the advancement of the Russian Armed Forces. The NYT cited experts who noted that such tactics have been successful in capturing Avdiivka.

Earlier in the US, it was stated that the important role of Russian “planning bombs” in the capture of Avdiivka.
