Russian Governor Reports Air Defense System Activated Over Kursk as Rocket Threat Persists

Governor Roman Starovoit has announced in a Telegram channel that an air defense system (ADS) is operating over Kursk.

“The ADS is operating in the sky over Kursk. I urge everyone to remain calm,” wrote the regional leader.

Prior to this, Starovoit reported that a missile threat had been declared in the Kursk region.

On March 11, the governor stated that the restoration of civilian infrastructure damaged by shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) is ongoing in the Kursk region. As a result of these efforts, over 900 houses have been repaired.

On Monday morning, it was reported that Russian air defense systems had shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Bryansk region.

Earlier, Governor Starovoit reported that the UAF had shelled the village of Tetkino in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region. Five impacts were recorded, and no local residents were injured.

Previously, a gas pipeline and power transmission line in the Kursk region were damaged during the shelling.
