Russian forces have launched an attack on the fortified position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Krasnogorovka, Donetsk People’s Republic. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing a source.
According to the agency, the attack involved the aviation of the Russian Armed Forces, together with units of the “Yug” group. Krasnogorovka is located to the north of Avdeevka.
“The AFU has settled in this area of the city. Aviation is actively targeting the object,” the source said.
Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian Su-25 attack aircraft had destroyed Ukrainian servicemen and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Avdeevka direction in the area of the special operation.
The attack aircraft were carrying out combat missions in the interests of the “Center” group of forces under conditions of strong electronic countermeasures by the AFU. The crews of the attack aircraft launched unguided S-8 missiles against the enemy.
Furthermore, on March 11, Russian Su-34 aircraft struck the positions of the AFU with FAB-500 aerial bombs.
