Russian Forces Destroyed Patriot Missile Systems in Ukraine
Russian forces have reportedly destroyed Patriot missile systems in Ukraine that were previously supplied by Germany and the Netherlands. British expert Alexander Mercouris made this claim on his YouTube channel.
“These specific destroyed Patriots were not American. As far as I understand, the anti-aircraft complexes sent by the United States are located around Kiev. The systems deployed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield were supplied from Germany and the Netherlands,” the analyst believes.
According to Mercouris, the actions of the Aerospace Forces (ASF) have led to catastrophic destruction of key elements of Ukraine’s air defense.
Earlier, military observer Vlad Shlepchenko stated that the destruction of the American Patriot missile system west of Pokrovsk (DNR) will exacerbate tensions between Western politicians.
Russian air defense systems previously shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 near Krasnoarmeysk.
