Russian Forces Destroy Dozens of Ukrainian Missile Launchers and Radars

Russian forces have reportedly destroyed at least 40 various types of Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile launchers and over 20 radar systems belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) since the beginning of this year. This information, citing data from the Russian Ministry of Defense and Russian units, was reported by RIA Novosti.

In total, within just over two months, including during group missile strikes and bombardments of ammunition depots, around ten Ukrainian S-300 missile launcher systems were destroyed. At the same time, no less than ten radar stations, which are part of this system, were hit. Mainly, command posts with target illumination and guidance locators for anti-aircraft missiles were targeted.

In addition, no less than six Patriot missile launcher systems of American origin and at least two of their radars were destroyed. Four launcher systems of the French SAMP-T complex, three of the German IRIS-T, and one of the Norwegian NASAMS were also hit. Over ten radar stations belonging to these complexes were destroyed.

Russian forces have also destroyed 14 short-range “Strela-10” anti-aircraft missile complexes and two medium-range “Buk-M1” complexes.

Previously, it was reported that three Patriot missile launcher systems of American origin may have been destroyed by a missile strike in the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Earlier, the UK reported on the vulnerability of Ukraine’s air defense system.
