Multiple Explosions in Zaporizhia, Ukraine Cause Concern
In the city of Zaporizhia, which is under the control of Kiev, there have been repeated explosions within the span of 24 hours. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication “Public”.
The day before, an infrastructure facility caught fire in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine due to explosions. In the night on Sunday, air raid sirens could be heard in the region.
Earlier, the official representative of the operational command “South” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, reported that an infrastructure facility was damaged in the Odessa region in the south of Ukraine as a result of overnight explosions. The official did not specify what type of infrastructure facility was affected.
Russian military forces have been targeting Ukrainian infrastructure since October 2022, shortly after the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. Since then, air raid sirens have been regularly sounding in various regions of Ukraine, often across the entire country. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attacks are aimed at targets in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication.
Earlier, air raid sirens were declared in six regions of Ukraine.
