Ukrainian Soldier Reveals Shocking Losses: 90% of Unit Perished in Battle

Ukrainian prisoner of war Alexander Guprin has stated that his platoon has lost nearly 90% of its personnel during the fighting. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to Guprin, since September 22 of last year, the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which he served, has lost about a third of its soldiers. As a result, only 14 people remain in his platoon out of over a hundred. Thus, the platoon has effectively ceased to exist. Therefore, the battalion command is forced to gather the remaining soldiers from all units.

Guprin also reported that Ukrainian infantrymen are being trained in mass at American-made M113 armored personnel carriers for airborne operations.

Earlier, a captured Ukrainian serviceman named Vadim spoke about the forced conscription into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Previously, in Russia, a proposal was made to create a mechanism for integrating prisoners of war from the Armed Forces of Ukraine into civilian life.
