Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region reported in his Telegram channel that Ukrainian forces had attacked the outskirts of the town of Stroitel in the Yakovlevsky municipal district using two drones.
According to Gladkov, after the drones crashed and detonated, a truck caught fire, but no one was injured. The governor clarified that emergency services have already extinguished the vehicle.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems had shot down two drones belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Belgorod region. On the night of March 10, air defense systems destroyed two Ukrainian drones in the region.
On March 9, Gladkov reported that the AFU had attacked the village of Mukhin in the Belgorod region with a drone. According to him, an explosive device was dropped from the drone onto residential areas. The governor assured that no one was injured. However, the fragments shattered windows and damaged the facade of a private residential house.
Previously, Russian air defense forces had shot down 197 AFU drones within a day.
