Russian Military Destroys Ukrainian Command Post in Donetsk People’s Republic

In a recent development, the Russian military successfully destroyed the command post of the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) in the area of the settlement of Zhelannoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This information was shared with journalists by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the department, using operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile forces, and artillery, the Russian Federation managed to destroy four fuel and ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army within 24 hours. Additionally, the UAV command post of the 71st Jäger Brigade of the VSU in the area of the settlement of Novokalinovo in the DPR was also targeted and neutralized.

Furthermore, the Russian military eliminated enemy personnel and military equipment in 136 areas.

On March 10, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the air defense systems of the Russian Federation had successfully shot down 130 drones belonging to the VSU in the special operation zone.

The previous day, the defense department announced that 197 drones belonging to the VSU had been shot down within 24 hours. It is also worth noting that three HIMARS projectiles and one guided bomb of French origin, the Hammer, were intercepted.

Earlier, a Ukrainian prisoner revealed that his unit had suffered a loss of nearly 90% of its soldiers in the battles.
