The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the armed forces of Russia have destroyed a Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzer of German production, which was in use by Ukrainian troops. In addition to the German howitzer, the enemy lost an American artillery system M777, two self-propelled artillery units “Gvozdika,” a D-30 howitzer, three vehicles, and up to 45 soldiers, according to the ministry.
This is not the first time the Russian armed forces have reported the destruction of the Panzerhaubitze 2000. On February 25, representatives of the Russian armed forces reported the destruction of the German howitzer on the Donetsk front. They also managed to hit a warehouse of ammunition belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces.
In March, it was revealed that Russian forces targeted Patriot anti-aircraft missile complexes in the Donetsk People’s Republic. This led Ukrainian experts to speculate about the possible involvement of traitors in this operation.
