Russian Air Defense Forces (AD) shot down a drone belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the sky over the Novgorod region. The drone is said to be of the aircraft type, according to the governor of the region, Andrey Nikitin, who wrote about the incident on his Telegram channel.
No local residents were harmed as a result of the incident, and no damage was reported in the Novgorod region, clarified the head of the local administration.
“We are working closely with law enforcement and security forces,” Nikitin added.
On March 10, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, stated that 317 Ukrainian drones had been destroyed or suppressed in the region’s airspace over the past week. He noted that the “Dnipro” troops group was responsible for carrying out tasks in this part of the country.
On the same day, the head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported an attack by UAF drones on the region. Two Ukrainian drones were shot down in the sky over the village of Gorkovsky, and another drone crashed into a private residential house. As a result, the windows of the building were damaged.
Earlier, Ukrainian forces shelled a food processing plant in the city of Gorlovka in Donetsk, destroying over one ton of bread.
